I mean i see sample programs that are written with C++ but also Visual Basic programs. What is the language that visual studio uses??? Both???? Can be the half code of a program written in C and the other half in Visual Basic?????

Which programming language is more practical, Java or Visual Basic?

I am an Information Systems major, and have to decide which class to take….either a Java class or a Visual Basic.net class. Both are upper division and deal with building business applications. I have never taken or learned anything related to programming….I would like to learn whichever one is more practical for working as a Business Systems Analyst….
